Adebayor and Falque In, Parker in the Balance, Spurs Draw That Team Off The Mega Drive

hotspur2_10Woof! Looks like Daniel Levy’s finally worked out how to use the telephone in his office. It’s like that scene in The Simpsons where Mr. Burns is forced to try and contact the outside world whilst hiding under his desk. I’ve seen people activate this machine a thousand times. Doesn’t seem to be any trick to it. Let’s see, Adebayor…A-D-E-B-A-Y-O-R. Success, it’s ringing! My guess is that he’s not had it plugged in for the last month; hence why our movements in the transfer window this summer appear to have been so, well…bleugh.

But now look at him; there’s no stopping the man. A glowing hotbed of fierce negotiation and deal-breaking. First the Togolese striker and Yago Falque arrive on season-long loans apiece, then we’re told of further talks involving Championship outfit West Ham and their man Scotty Parker, party starter. Slow down, Daniel. Slow down!

No. Seriously.

In other news, we’ve been drawn in the same group as Shamrock Rovers in the Rope-a-Dope-League proper. Who else remembers playing them on European Club Soccer on the Mega Drive? Fairytale stuff, that. Brings a tear your eye.

City up tomorrow.

Crikey.
